FACEBOOK

Facebook is the second largest online social networking service.Facebook's mission is to give people the power to share and make the world more open and connected. It is also called a thesaurus of knowledge.

HISTORY

Facebook was Introduced in February,2004.Mark Zuckerberg, 23, founded Facebook while studying psychology at Harvard University.

His college roommate and colleagues of Harvard University students Eduardo-Saverin, Andrew-Mc-Collum, Dustin-Moskovitz and Chris -Hughes also was with him as founder.

In February 2004 Mr Zuckerberg launched "The facebook", as it was basically familiar, the name accepted from the sheets of paper distributed to freshmen, profiling students and staff. Between 24 hours, 1,200 Harvard students had signed up, and one month after, over half of the Graduate populations had a profile.

The network was Immediately increased extended to other universities of Boston, the Ivy League and eventually all universities of US. It became Facebook.com in August 2005 after the address was purchased for $200,000. US high schools could sign up from September 2005, then it began to spread worldwide, reaching UK universities the following month.
At first, the website's membership was Restricted by the founders to students Harvard University, but Other Boston area colleges, Ivy League has been Extended, and gradually most of the universities in Canada and the United States,corporations,and by September 2006, to everyone of age 13 and older with a valid email address. now- a days Facebook allows any users who announce themselves to be at above 13 years old for opening an Facebook account of the site. Now Facebook's active users number crossed over one billion and is the second largest social network on the web.

ACCOUNT

For connecting with largest social network, at first one's have to signup an account in FACEBOOK. For SIGNING UP and MAINTAIN your account, you have to  follow this Rules.
  1. You don't give  any false private info on Facebook, or open another account for anyone Unauthorized use.
  2. don't open more than one private account
  3. If FACEBOOK deactivate your account, don't try try to re-create another account without FACEBOOK'S permission.
  4. don't use Facebook timeline or fanpage for commercial objective.
  5. Don't try to create account until you reach 13 years old.
  6. your account will be blocked if you found guilty.
