HISTORY

Facebook was Introduced in February,2004.Mark Zuckerberg, 23, founded Facebook while studying psychology at Harvard University.

His college roommate and colleagues of Harvard University students Eduardo-Saverin, Andrew-Mc-Collum, Dustin-Moskovitz and Chris -Hughes also was with him as founder.

It became Facebook.com in August 2005 after the address was purchased for $200,000. US high schools could sign up from September 2005, then it began to spread worldwide, reaching UK universities the following month.

At first, the website's membership was Restricted by the founders to students Harvard University, but Other Boston area colleges, Ivy League has been Extended, and gradually most of the universities in Canada and the United States,corporations,and by September 2006, to everyone of age 13 and older with a valid email address. now- a days Facebook allows any users who announce themselves to be at above 13 years old for opening an Facebook account of the site.
